Corrpro Company is looking for a Foreman for our Waterworks group.
Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.
- Responsible for complete competence regarding electrical systems and cathodic protection (CP) systems utilized in Waterworks CP systems
- Manage field staff and expenses, actively labor in fieldwork, and operate specialized installation equipment for execution of waterworks service jobs
- Responsible for keeping progress in line with overall project schedule, cost estimate and in conformance with the contract documents
- Plans and performs duties involved with testing, evaluation and installation of CP systems to inhibit corrosion on various structures
- Make field decisions and alterations in schedule, system installation, and customer management based upon field conditions
- Schedule subordinates to assist in projects - Supervise installation in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements
- Revise installation plans as necessary to accommodate field conditions - Collect field data as necessary to complete projects
- Prepare final report of installed system components
- Monitor activities for adherence to design specifications
- Conduct various specific test procedures to gather data for evaluation purposes
- Conduct post installation surveys, complete interference testing, and calibrate rectifier output
- Work with Engineers in analyzing requirements and the design of appropriate corrosion control measures
- Assemble data for preparation of final client report including service recommendations
- Work with Engineers in the preparation of survey reports and final job reports
- Provide maintenance of field test equipment, ensure good operating condition, and render minor repairs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of field experience, ideally working with water systems or cathodic protection systems
- AMPP / NACE CP Tester or Technician certification preferred
- Strong team and internal and external customer service skills required
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Be able to effectively communicate with both customers and fellow employees
- Demonstrate conscientiousness and dependability to produce results
- Ability to travel overnight during the week and 2 to 3 weeks at a time when needed
